The original Broadway show production of "Six — The Musical" earned 2 Tony awards, including for Best Score. After opening on London's West End and moved to Broadway, you now have the opportunity to attend "Six" in Houston, Texas. The touring production of "Six" will deliver the astounding score to Sarofim Hall on Thursday 9th April 2026.
"Six — The Musical" originated as a stage production by the Cambridge University Musical Theatre Society in 2017 in Cambridge, England. The buzz of those performances resulted in a professional production that toured the country in 2018.
"Six — The Musical" made its official appearance on London’s West End in 2019. It had a acclaimed run until COVID-19 obstructed shows for most of the following year.
But still, the play continued to receive favorable reviews and was involved in tours across the world. Finally moving to New York City, where it was the first new play to open on Broadway after the pandemic.
It continues to play in venues across the nation and the world today. An intriguing twist to the production of "Six" was that Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss used actual pop stars to model the characters. They took inspiration from celebrities like Beyoncé, Jennifer Hudson, Adele, Celine Dion, Rihanna, Ariana Grande, and Alicia Keys for the character creation.
