“New album, new song, new tour!” is what global hitmaker Sara Bareilles has promised to her fans. This year, she is sharing her Home and more for her audience that patiently waited for her comeback to the studio and the road. Good Grief will be the passionate singer’s seventh studio album, and although it may seem impossible, she also considers it her most emotional and personal piece of work yet. On the shows for her Good Grief Tour, Sara wants everyone to share “the thing that’s the most true, and through that building threads of connection between you and the people around you”!
When Sara Bareilles made her Broadway debut as a composer and lyricist for the musical Waitress in 2015, she did not know that she would reach international fame with the song She Used To Be Mine. Her vocal skills and her use of the piano in her discography have encouraged critics to compare her to music icons, like Billy Joel, Fiona Apple, and Etta James. Sara often describes her sound as “piano-based pop soul”, and her songwriting capabilities have been a strong foundation of her successful music career. She is producing her newest album, Good Grief, which was also worked on by well-known songwriter and record producer Aaron Dessner, who has notably worked with Taylor Swift, Noah Kahan, and Gracie Abrams.
Sara Bareilles is giving you a Safe Place to Land when she stages a sensational performance at the Sarofim Hall at The Hobby Center on Thursday, 8th October 2026! This top-tier concert venue can accommodate up to more than 2,600 guests across its mezzanine, orchestra, and gallery levels, and the whole structure has been designed to maximize sightlines and the quality of acoustics, allowing live audience members to feel like they’re watching the performer up close even in the farthest seats. Inspired by Broadway and European theaters, one of its most outstanding characteristics is its Celestial Dome Ceiling, which utilizes 2,000 fiber-optic stars that give each show a stunning recreation of a summer night sky. Previous concertgoers have complimented the venue’s modern amenities, convenient location, and accessible parking. For every ticket sold, the Jed Foundation will get a dollar, and 100% of net proceeds from VIP packages will go to the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
