Synopsis
It was a staple in every English class in middle and high school.
We fell in love with Ponyboy Curtis, we went on an emotional rollercoaster of youth with him, and even identified with some of the struggles Ponyboy, Johnny Cade, Dally Winston, Darry Curtis, and the others came face to face with. We dreamt small-town dreams with them, we walked the road of violence, addiction, depression, and socio-economic struggles beside them as though it were our own.
